Do you think computers are a waste of time?

The only way that I think computers are a waste of time is when someone sits on it all day and plays games or do unproductive things. I personally work on a computer all day, so I would have to say that they definitly save me a lot of time. If I had to do everything I do by hand then I would be wasting A LOT of time, so for me, the computer helps me.

As far as being healthy, what these days is healthy? It certainly is not anything that we eat, drink, see, hear or touch, so what is the difference? The lights on the screen are not good for your eyes. The keyboard is not good for the muscles in your arms if you use it all day, etc etc. We can go on for days. But the bottom line is, in the advnaced world that we live in today, you MUST have a computer and you MUST know how to use on. PERIOD.

hi dude, computers are waste of time, a big big no no, computers are invited to make our jobs easy and its purpose is to save

our time from doing manual task we do. it just only means the we save time by using the computers..

well i dont think that way. computer is a very useful thign and i think it depends how you use it. it can be a wonderful thing and also if you miss use it then it is a waste of time

Depends on the times. Back as a kid, as in your words of "wasting time" we jumped rope, did skip-tape, hopscotch, rode bikes, skateboards, skates, and then went inside and played board game after board games.

My daughters years - TGIF on Fridays, series books to read, "just hanging out" on patio steps or walking to friends house or taking on phone (they had cords back then so the kid had to stay in the house!) and video games

My grand daughters time now... game boy, wii, electronic this and that and cell phones and computers

Which is a waste of time? THe exercise I got all day long, the education and fun reading gave to my daughter, or being able function in the 21st century that my GD is learning....

All depends on how you look at it. Maybe a question could better answer it...if you werent' sitting at your computer X hours a day...what would you be doing? HOpefully something constructive, helpful or at least not out on the streets causing trouble!!!

I feel computers are real friends to us.It is helping a lot in gaining the knwldge,earning money through online,knowing things what is happening all round the world.With this only we can even interact with different kind of people too.But it is really waste to the people who misuse them.
Ofcourse staying all through the day in front of the computer may effect our eyes too,but if we take corresponding precautions than i think it would be fine.We have to do some exercise too after getting from the computer or sitting before the computer.......
