Would you rather be an adult or a child?

This discussion just caught my eye. I'll answer with both point of views.
I would be a child because if i got in trouble, i would usually get away with it with minor consequences and would have more "backyard adventures". I also would be able to fit in places i couldn't today(I'm not fat, just tall). I would be an adult because i would have more independence and i can drive. Also, i would have better knowledge about the world and wouldn't be wondering about situations such as "how are babies born?" and etc.
Anyways, if I had to pick one. I would choose to be an adult. Justin16, how about you?

I like being child be inosense w/ everything.Not much problem than playing meet friend,play in the playground,eat sleep, no worries of what is going to happen just go to school,most of the time you cant decide what you have to do.You have to ask permission everytime to your parent.But i rather be adult knowing what is happenning to the world and to the people around me.They said how old you have the problem you got.But that is life.Life to be like this.
Problems,trials,pain,hurt,betrayal,inlove this is all normal that happen to the people.Ok being a child you dont have all this kind of feelings and problem but you learning things.Even i have all the problem in the world i would choose to be an adult..Have a nice day my friend...

I love being an adult and having my freedom of living on my own (well with my fiancee!) and being able to drive and have fun with my friends without permission! I can make my own decissions! Its great! The only bad thing about being an adult is the bills and the cleaning and washing!

It is great being a child though because you have no stress! you just play all day!!

well i wud rather be a child than an adult. miss school, college and friends and those small things i used to do when i was a child. but now as an adult, we can just think abt them, and cannot become one. so its just fun. freedom and just being naughty. i m sure everyone wants to be a child than be a responsible adult

As an adult i would much rather be a child again. You hear it all the time but i really do wish i knew back then what i know now. Things would have been so much easier on me. I remember when I was a teenager, my parents didn't know anything. They were mindless boobs there to pay my bills. I have a 13 year old son now and i see that same look in his eye and i'm sure he thinks the same thing about me. It really makes me laugh. Back before I moved out of my parents house I had it made. All my needs were met and I didn't have nearly as much stress as i do now. Yeah it comes with a price by having to answer to your parents but looking back, that was a small price to pay for peace of mind and lack of financial worries. The fastest way to grow up is to have kids at an early age so if i can offer any bit of advice...wait until you are at a comfortable place in your life before starting a family.
