Online Jobs | | I just wanted everyone to know that you should never have to pay for a job. If there is a job out there that asks you up front for cash, don't do it. It's a scam. My friends and I have been scammed so many times, we have learned from our mistakes and we like to pass that on so others don't have to go through the same things that we did.

We never have to pay to do a job offline and it should be the same online too. Stay away if you are asked to pay as you would be losing out from the start (and making others rich) Welcome to MyLot and happy posting!

A work from UK, they him to work for his visa and papers, but after sending some of these details they are asking for money or they called it processing fee. It's a scam, why they should asked for a money without any assurance that they are going to give my uncle a work there. They said the processing fee is free. We search for this company in UK in website but it is unknown company. We discovered that there is a company named like that but they do not have a branch in UK and they are not hiring through online. How can this people sleeps well at night and eating they're food where it came from gambling and illegal works like this. Thank god, we discovered it earlier.

Ladywriter1968 (760) | 1 year ago | i have found that most of these homework jobs want money from you. sometimes when they send me emails, i send an email back saying is this going to cost me anything. then they reply with yes it will only cost bla bla, i then email them and say i want a job to get money, not work and pay it out. you dont work and pay yourself do you. but i agree its so easy to get scammed. years ago i was on this photography thing, this guy said he could get me photo shoots etc, i had the pics done and paid two hundred quid out. he gave me a list of places to ring the the photo shoots, when i was ringing them they were places like tesco and boots. he had conned me, a few months later the same guy was in the paper and was sent to prison for being a pedophile and taking pics of naked children. to think i went to his studio as well.

| Momofagirl (17) | 1 year ago | I think that you are taking what is being said out of context. There are alot of scams out there. The "jobs" that require you to pay a certain fee to even start, yes is a scam. They promise $225 a day blah blah blah. Or to make thousands each month. Again yes that is a scam. You are paying for a web page for your business. That is not even in the same ball park as what is being said. I'm sorry if you took it that way.

| wendyloo (90) | 1 year ago | ok thanks for that.
By the way by chance the other day I found out that the sites that tell you this is a scam or that is,,,be very carefull. I was reading a program for someone else and one of the biggest scam telling pages on the net gives details of business they have tried and tested, not really true, what happens is every time someone signs up the scam buster gets a nice commission for having the biz on their scam free page. So I had to ask myself,if they are offered a juicy fee they will take most business write ups..be careful Also if you ask ten people is such and such biz opp a scam you will find the ones that did not achieve and not follow what was suggested,,they would say its a scam It is impossible to know who is or is not a scam

| | 5. penny64 (643) | 1 year ago | I think there is a big difference here between a job and a business. No-one should ever pay a fee to take a job ... you expect to get paid for the work you do - no risk. On the other hand, to have a business does have upfront costs - more risk, but much greater rewards if successful. Most genuine online businesses have some sort of fee involved, whether it be for a website, back office, product samples or whatever. I think the trick is to really look hard at exactly what you are getting for your money, and whether you will be able to successfully work the business. The best businesses have a good product or service which people really want. If the advertisement for the business or job is anything but 100% honest about what you will be doing, and is asking for money ... well ... RUN!!

| Momofagirl (17) | 1 year ago | That is exactly right. That is why I said you should never have to pay for a JOB! You are supposed to work to get paid not pay to work. Obviously a business is going to have some sort of start up costs, but that is not what I started this discussion about. The big ones are the you pay $30+ and you get to do surveys that pay big money, or the pay $197 and process rebates. There is no rebate processing job that I have come across that is genuine.

penny64 (643) | 1 year ago | I got stung by one of those so called data entry job websites years ago, and I won't go near them again. I was lucky because I got my money back through Clickbank. The reason I made the distinction between jobs and businesses is that a lot of people seem to get them confused. I know that you know the difference, but people who are new to the internet might not yet understand.

bunnybon7 (3540) | 1 year ago | yes, been there done that a couple years ago. this place said only $ 40. for a list of money making surveys. man was i stupid. all they did was give me a list, that i ended up doing them and getting nothing back but entry in sweepstakes which you never win. i could kick myself. but it taught me a lesson. now im suspicious of almost everything online.
