Let's face it,everyone's a racist to some degree.Do you have a problem pointing out something that a certain race does that offends you in some way? I don't have a problem with any particular race.I do have problems with some of the stupid things certain races do more than others.I'm not just talking about blacks or hispanics.I'm talking about all races, white, yellow, brown, etc. It seems to me whites are more afraid than anyone to be considered a racist. We go out of our way to be so-called politically correct. Me,I hate everybody.LOL!How about you?

I do not agree with the statement that everyone is a racist to some degree. I think everyone is biased and prejudices to some degree, but not racist. Using a word like "racist" is a dangerous and very accusatory thing. And in my opinion is used to lightly in any soceity. Prejudices and biases are present with everyone and can lead to rascism, but it does not equal it. And I have been known to say I hate everybody as well, because I think it is ridiculous that everyone has to be so careful about what they say because they will offend someone. Well, one thing I learned a long time ago is you cannot worry about everything, because no matter what you say someone will be offended. And caucasins may be more sensitive because of the past ills one race did to another. But the way I look at it is this, we have progressed from that. What is done is done. It does not mean it was right it does not mean future generations should not learn from it, it does not mean future generations should dwell on it. And a lot of times they do. Racial discussions are very contorversial because they tend to touch nerves on either side of the fences, white, black, brown, yelloe, etc. And yes some stereotypes may look like they hold true to certain ethnicity's but it does not mean a whole race should be judged upon them solely. I have a problem with stupid people in general no matter their heritage, but one good thing is knowledge is power and a stupid person can learn a different path with it.

I think you are right in a couple ways. We are all racist a little bit. Racism is based on generalizations which are based on actual observations. I think if everyone can laugh at each others racially stereotypes (as long as they are friendly or in jest) then racism wouldnt be as taboo as it feels sometimes. Look at comedians, without racism comedians would be stuck.
