What's the worst addiction you've ever had? Or currently have?

It doesn't matter if you are addicted to something right now or was addicted; We won't judge you.
Previously I was addicted to Runescape. I played it daily and never had a life. That was last year and i never look back on it. What finally made me quit was my friends, they were all achieving great things while i was stuck and busy playing that game.
What was or is your addiction? What finally made you stop? How addicting was it?

The worst thing I was addicted to was smoking. It was the hardest thing I have ever done. I just made up my mind and throw them away and haven't had one since. I was crabby for a while. I never want to go through that again.

I am addicted to talking on the phone. I just love to talk on the phone. I can talk on the phone for hours. I have a bluetooth headset and I talk on the phone even when I'm online. I am talking on the phone right now as I type this response to you. I just love talking on the phone. I will talk to my friends and I will talk to my family via the phone. I find it freeing to be able to talk on the phone any where I am and any time I like. I just love talking on the phone. I have even had strangers ask me if I would make a phone call for them and you know what? I have done it because I love talking on the phone so much and also because I'm such a nice person and I would never ever in my wildest dreams take advantage of the kindess of someone for my own vile, filthy, worthless, criminal, abnormal, cowardly, satanic, hitlerly, stalinist, bushist, cheneyist, pitiful, ignoble, ugly, chickenhearted, dastardly, miscreant, lily-livered, pusillanimous, yellow bellied, spineless, shameful, obscene, disreputable ways.
No, I believe that I can use my addiction for the good of all creation, and that's what I do. I bring joy to people with my phone addiction.
