S/o was kind enough to take the two boys with him to a friends house, stepson and girlfriend left shortly after....I think I scared them all away!
I don't know why, just everything seems to be setting me off. Like when stepson asked if I was done with the washer. I wasn't but instead of just saying so I snapped that I "was going to use it but I guess I won't now". Then I emptied the dryer, swamped the wet clothes into it and walked away so she could wash their stuff. An hour later she still hadn't started a load so I put another one in. It had barely stopped spinning when she came out (while I was in the midst of a very messy diaper change) and asked if I still had clothes in the washer. I really snapped that time and told her I'd "get them when I can, I'm kinda busy right now!" And when I did get to it...within 5 minutes...I threw the wet clothes in a basket and yelled into the bedroom that the washer and dryer were empty for them. She put one load in and they left before it was done. I really wanted to throw her wet clothes on the floor but I dried them so I could have the washer back and then threw them on their couch....strings pretending to be underwear and all! I've got plenty more laundry to do so she won't be getting the washer back til tomorrow.
Don't get me started on s/o taking over the computer when I ran outside to put things away before it stormed or the 4 pots and pans and other various dished stepson and girlfriend accumulated that I refused to wash...she finally ran out of things to cook in and washed them herself though!
Ugh...I'm just annoyed and irritated with everyone, but I sure am enjoying the quiet right now! Now if only I can get my music player working right and replace all the songs that mysteriously quit working between the the first time through and the second try...

Foxy, you gotta remember the famous words of Jimmy Buffet, "Breathe In, Breathe out, Move on".. If you can remember this, you will be able to live out the rest of your natural life in your own home wearing your own clothing, not in an institution wearing one of those cute white tops that tie in the back, with your arms in back also.. Take a deep breath and move on.. You can do some hard time if you kill them, so better take his advice, for real.. Donna

...yeah but it would be less stressful to sit around eating pudding and watching cartoons all day LOL!
As much breathing in and out as I have to do sometimes I'm on the verge of permanently hyperventilating! But you're right, it's better to just let go than get all stressed.

I understand how it feels. My family can get that way too, and it always leaves me so stressed out that when they leave for the day, I feel like throwing a party; one that only I would be invited to. Lol.
It's okay, though. They need to learn to take care of themselves a little more, and stop relying on their mom to do everything for them. I hope you feel better and relax while you can. God knows when they'll come back. Lol.

Well the "big kids" didn't come back til the following morning! (No biggie since they were with his mom but it still would have been nice to know ahead of time). It's like I can't find a happy balance, either the others aren't doing enough or they are being overbearing and taking over...ugh, we just have too many people under one roof!

You know I don't know the whole situation, but it sure sounds like you are doing too much and everyone else is doing too little. I get upset and out of sorts when I find mess after mess around here and I feel a lack of consideration toward me. I don't have a solution for you, but thought I could at least validate you that you are doing a whole lot.
