he is not going to do. like the flowers, cards, candy, sweet nothings.

Understand the psychology...

Men(We) wanna be "alone" if they have a problem, and they don want anybody to discuss or solve their problem, they jus wanna sort it out in their own way... He surely wudda told u this when hez upset... "Please leave me alone", am i rite??

Women(You) always wanted somebody to be near them when they are in deep trouble, itz like they wanted somebody to listen wat their problems are, and also wanted some kinda moral support to solve their problem, U wudda surely felt it if u r upset...

So pls understand this, guyz are more easy go'n if u don involve much in their probs... And pls don pester him(am sorry to say) or jus don ask for a gift or card when hez not in a mood... He might not have the practice of giv'n a card to others(tats y he wudda never bothered to sent me gifts and cards)... Its a guy thing...

Rather u betta take him somewhr special, whr he wud listen to u; obviously whn hez in a good mood, give him a precious gift and jus tell him tat u have given him a very special gift(stress here)... Share some sweet memories with him n if possible give him some enjoyable pleasure... Conquer him in ur own way..

Well for starters you should stop comparing him to your ex. Also try to be more patient since you are in a long distance relationship.

Patience is a virtue dear..and everyone is special in a way. maybe your ex used to send your cards and gifts to please you..but you are living in your present and with your future by your side, so forget your ex..and try to treasure what's special in your boyfriend instead of comparing..i am sure u will love him in the way he is and hold him close to you because everyone is special in some way..by not sending gifts, this does not mean that there is no love for someone..some have immense hidden ocean of love in their heart..so just treasure this ocean of love..am sure u will be very happy and u feel eternal love and bliss by his side..best of luck dr.,
