I was wondering if you know anyone who has that have you ever known anyone to be cured of that, I know someone who has this illness and they have had lots of surgery and lots of chemo, How likely is it that this person will still be alive in say five or ten years, they are in their early sixties now? Also the cigarette smoking they are doing this will hasten their death isn't that right I did tell them that it would but they will not listen to me at all.

Anna, Time will only tell it depends on the strength and energy of the person with cancer. It depends how fast the disease is growing, there is alot of ifs and I honestly dont think that it would be right for anyone to tell you a time line. My grandmother had cervical cancer and she lived with it for 15 years. But some cancers grow slow and other strands are very fast. it all depends on the strand of cancer. I wish you and your family lots of strength and energy

Thank you very much, it is my father who has cancer, and he was told they can not give him any more chemo therapy, I wish that no one had any health problems but they do.

Thank you, also my father is not the same one I mentioned about on another thread, his doctor told him he had six months to a year maybe, but his doctors have also told him recently that he is doing much better than expected, my friend on the other hand is not doing as well, he has good days and bad, but a lot of down days, and that is discouraging to me, because I can't fix the things that are wrong, some times i think life is very hard in some areas.
