Since I'm only a beginner, I tried all the kinds of photography; landscape, portrait, sports, etc. But I would like to improve in doing landscape photography.

I mostly photograph people and nature. My sister loves having her picture taken and I love taking pictures, so we do a lot of 'photoshoots' together. I live in a rural area, so there is a lot of nature and scenic stuff to photograph, like the river, deer, turkey and trees/flowers.

At least you already have a model. Lolz. My friends also love taking them a picture and I am always their cameraman. But I'm thankful because some of them are still concern on me for having a few shots. Its candid. Thanks!

If you're interested in landscape photography, you should consider getting an ultra wide angle lens. These lenses can make for some amazing landscape photos! Also, you should shoot during the "golden hour" (the hours before and after sunrise and sunset) The colors are the best during this time, the lighting will be softer and warmer, and you won't have harsh shadows or over-exposed highlights!

Also, always keep shooting! The more pictures you take, the more you'll improve!

I love to take photos of landscape and I like to take photos of animals. However animals do not always sit still or be visible when I take a photo. For example a dog might turn around quickly or worse still a dolphin might do underwater. I am very keen on traveling and that is when I take lots of photos. Years ago with the film type camera I wasted lots of photos of wildlife, especially animals that live in the sea. Nowadays I have a digital camera so I can delete photos is they are not good enough. I hope that you get on well improving your landscape photography.

Yes, it is really hard in taking pictures of moving subjects. What I did is to use the random shots, look for the nice one and delete the other shots. Like when I saw a flock of birds flying around the park, cart racing and some sports event. Also, using a film camera can really waste your effort and money that's why I'm very thankful to the one who discovered the digital technology. =)
