Will you feel safe if you are someone next to have a gun for protection?

Guns have no other purpose than for violence.

If you have a cannon in your house, you probably can't wait to use it at some point in time.

I'd rather not have one. That way no one feels the need to bring one to my house or show me theirs.

I've heard of more children and innocent people killed by guns than those who were actually criminals.

How many police have killed persons who were later found to be innocent of the "crime" that they were killed for?
How many criminals are actually ALIVE AND WELL AND FLOURISHING in prison?
How many innocent are dead?

I know I would be "deterred" by the chance that someone may be carrying a concealed weapon in many public places if that were allowed in my area! Deterred from wanting to go many places and certainly deterred from taking my grandkids there! There are too many "loose cannons" running around to have them carrying a hidden "cannon" around with them at the mall or at a sporting event. I've seen enough "temper tantrums" to know that in some cases if the person would have had a weapons at their disposal someone may have gotten badly hurt or even killed. What someone has in their own home is their own business, I suppose, but I certainly wouldn't have a loaded gun laying around in my house especially if I had children around.
