do you wait on your spouse extra or let them sleep in or what.
My spouse is usually sick when there is little money I think there is a relationship between these things.

I care for my spouse 100% when she is sick. When she is under the weather I do everything for her, but when I am I still do for myself. The difference comes from our upbringings, I was raised with you take care of yourself attitudes where she was raised with a dad that got babied for everything. So I baby her when she is sick.
Thank you for the good discussion and have a great day!!

Ouch that would be rough if you were both sick. But I think that you may have misunderstood MEE. I do not mind taking care of her when she is sick and she tries to take care of me but I do not let her as that is not how I was raised. I think that it is great that you both take care of each other, truely 50/50.
Thank you for the response and have a great day!!!

Your partner is more than likly sick due to stress. Does your spouse get mirgrains or anything like that?
When my partner is sick I let him do what he wants to do. If he wants to have a kip on the settee then thats fine, if he wants to go to bed then thats ok too. I let him do what makes him feel better. Of course I help him if i need too or if he wants me too. He suffers from mirgrains which usually make him be sick too so when hes in bed I always give him a glass of water and a few painkillers.

I don't guarantee that I do things even half as well as she does, but she seems to appreciate that I try.
