So,i was waiting at the bus station the other day and a guy walks up and starts preaching a sermon right there in the bus station!I was not the only one who heard him.I did not want to be rude and get up and leave although i was tempted. He was talking directly to me and another person who was sitting there on the bench with me.I believe everyone has a right to express their freedom of religion but,i also believe there is a time and a place for everything and this is not the place to do that at.This guy would not take a hint we were looking away and not really listening i was tired and just wanted to be left alone.how would you have handled this situation?

I know what you mean and some people may be bothered , and feel uncomfortable . You find this many times in New York City in time square , and at the subway . It just goes in one ear and out the other . Some people do make really good points though . There was some crazy people in Washington Dc passing out booklets and screaming all the sins that will make you burn in the fires of hell . Now that really rubbed me the wrong way . Who is someone to judge you , really ?

I would've told him that I was tired in a kind way. I respected his right to express, and he should also respect mine. I listened and merely gave feedback.

It is not rude to simply extract your self and leave a conversation that does not apppeal to you. He has the rihgt to express his freedom of religious thought. You have the freedom to choose to listen or not. This is not rude. It simply balances the rights of him to speak with your right to choose to listen or not, OK? RIghts must be in balance.
