Me and a friend of mine were watching this commercial for some kind of cranberry juice. Its the one where two guys are standing in middle of some kind water thing with cranberries floating in it and there are no trees or anything around and neither one of us knows what kind of plant cranberries come from. Or do they grow on a vine like grapes or what?

Cranberries grow on a low, broadleaf evergreen vine. The scientific name for the plant is Vaccinium Macrocarpon. The vines are cultivated in beds, called marshes and Wisconsin is responsible for production of more than half, 70,000 produced in the US.
