One of the things that I really enjoy doing is drawing pictures

One of my recent horse drawings - I drew this one using MS Paint. I love how it turned out, it looks like a sweet mare. Originally this wasn't what the horse was supposed to look like. I was using a picture of a high-stepping hackney pony as my inspiration and this is what I came up with instead. I am ok with that though I am going to try to draw a hackney again sometime!

I used to draw pictures all the time when I was growing up but I quit once I had a baby, moved in with my baby's daddy and his two children and life really got me down. But just last year, I re-discovered drawing pictures and I started doing them on the computer using MS Paint. Drawing pictures, especially of horses has become one of my greatest joys in life. Ok, that sounds a bit silly and dramatic but still, it is true. I love drawing my horse pictures. They're fun, some of the them are pretty and they make me feel good inside. Do you have a hobby or something that causes you to feel happy inside?

That's cool! Sometimes I sew too. I made my adult daughter a long sort of Renaissance-type dress for Halloween last year. It wasn't the greatest since I am no seamstress but if it looks ok and it doesn't fall apart, I feel like I've accomplished something! LOL

I am not a seamstress either most of the things i make are very simple but i do enjoy seeing something that i made as a finished product! As long as it stays together we have met our goal!LOL

One of my horse drawings, with pencil and paper - I did this horse drawing with pencil and paper and then I did auto balance in MS Photo Editor and this is what it did to the picture. I liked the effect so I saved it this way. The original is just plain pencil on paper and its hard to see on the computer.
I love your dressage horse drawing! It's beautiful. I think most of my horse drawings have a more cartoony feel to them, I guess that might be the word. I mean I'd love them to be more realistic but MS Paint, I'm not sure. I probably need more practice! LOL Though I guess if use a regular paper and pencil, they look more realistic since they have no color. :-) I've attached a pencil horse drawing that I did but I altered it using auto balance and I have no clue what that is but I like how it made the drawing look!

I think we all need hobbies. I have several of them. I love to write, read, sew, cook, knit, hike and so many more things. I love being active. I have been sick a lot lately and had many surgeries and I hate it.

I love drawing horses too! :] In fact, I have become quite good at it. I have always been a natural when it comes to art, though. I love riding horses, also. And handling horses. And feeding horses. And making horses happy, which makes me happy. And giving horses treats. And leading them around and hand-grazing them. And petting horses. And grooming horses. And making horses' stalls clean. And doing pretty much anything to do with horses. [I think you get the point, anyway.] :D
