Do you still reward yourself after a hard days work?

unfortunately now i have children my days of rewards are well and truly over

I used to reward myself by buying clothes or travelling. Last year, I rewarded myself by giving me further studies.

I enrolled myself to an MBA course and will be finishing this October. I kinda invested on it so, that leaves me with a little budget for anything else. I reward myself with a movie or a night out.

I will travel or buy clothes after my masters.

I enjoy rewarding myself all the time, especially after doing such a job well done at school. I'm still in college, you see. And what better way to reward myself than to go and indulge in good food! Haha. It doesn't really have to be incredibly scrumptious or ridiculously expensive, as long as I enjoy eating it! Lolz.

Yeah, I do this, but I make sure I really deserve the reward first!

Right now, I’ve been working 50 to 60 hours a week and not rewarding myself at all. Propane bill has to get paid somehow…

In Sept. and October, when my mom was still hunting for a job, the two of us would go to lunch and then do some window shopping. She’s found another job finally after 8 months of being laid off, so those girl’s day outs are over.

I supposed my own reward right now - my husband’s employer just switched insurance plans and this company is offering exceptional coverage (much better than we had and what we had was 100 times better than what my own friends have) no more co-pays for physicals or in-patient hospital care YEAH and no deductibles at all. The best part is that the rates are not going up with this switch they locked in their rate until 2010, so that gives us some peace of mind for a couple years.

But you know what, in the end, while I may be bypassing rewards right now. I keep looking at my neighbor - her 18 year old just had her baby last weekend and her son’s 15 year old girlfriend is due in a month. I’m much rather forgo some me time and be at home to raise my kids than turn them into affection starved, latch-key kids, who while mom worked 50 hour weeks and had her “me” time at Friday night after-hour parties, had the house all to themselves where they chose to gain affection in all the wrong ways.

I work from home. So my reward is time with my family outside the house. And ocassionally I do get this. Nothing as big as a lottery ticket though. My hubby will even reward me with a shoulder or back rub. Rewards are nice, that is for sure.

I suffer from depression as well as I have some health issues which makes it hard for me to do alot of things without being in pain, so when I can pass a full day with little or no pain, I'm very happy, and I do reward myself a little something, even if its only something small like buying myself something from the dollar store near my house.

Yes I reward myself after a hard days work, I feel if I work hard, I can be reward for the hard work I put in.
I deserve the rewards I am due. So I work hard to make sure I get my reward

of course.. i give my self a reward after all those stuff.. and i do it buy watching movies with my friends or buy something for myself... it's how i balance my social and academic life(since i'm currently studying)..

Yes, I always reward my self. My grandma always said pay yourself first. If you work and work and never enjoy the fruits of your labor what is the point? You have to treat yourself cause alot most of the time nobody else will. A smoothie after a hot hard days work is a great example. A nice dinner after a long weeks work is also nice or a trip to somewhere special. Enjoy life be happy.:)
