Of course. To be approved of, and recognized as a good person is also a fear. Even if its God himself, you are wanting to be approved by. Thanks for your response.;D

I thought quite the opposite. But I'm not a religious person, so I wouldn't know. Lol.

Matthew 24:3-14 tells what all will happen in the last days. Those last days sound just like our world today, which power of deduction shows we are in "the last days." Verse 14 tells the culmination of it all.

Hebrews 10:26, 27 says that if one practices sin willfully, there is no sacrifice left, only a fearful expectation of judgment. It's not easy not to sin, we are imperfect.

Romans 12:9 says "abhor what is wicked."

So I have to work at gaining, and then maintaining, God's approval, since I am a sinful human. So I have to stick to what is good (Romans 12:9), keep friends with those who do the same (Proverbs 13:20), and pray to God a LOT to help me to continue to do what he wants me to do (Philippians 4:6,7,13).

And it is NOT easy. But I want God's approval bad enough to do whatever it takes.

Sorry to hear about your brothers being mean like that. Maybe your fear of snakes is just something that came with a repressed memory of being tortured. As for rodents, I don't know if they can smell fear, but it's squirrel. Maybe it was being territorial over a nest of seed or nuts it was harvesting. Lol. Kind of funny to hear that you get scared at squirrels, but I'm not trying to laugh at that. It just interests me, that's all. (:

It's okay, I laugh at all of my fears but only after I am away from the rodents LOL

Which rodents scare you the most?

Little tiny mice, actually. We don't have rats here in the desert, so I don't have to worry about them unless I run across someone that has one as a pet. But mice, they do me in and I scream just like my daughter sounds LOL They move too fast for my poor eyesight to follow them so I never know where they have gone to. I leave the area as soon as possible lest they run up my pants leg LOL

LOL. Aww... little tiny mice? The white ones? Those are cute. I used to have one as a pet. But it died, several years later. I don't know how or why; I always took good care of it.

Good. Stand by those words. Live your life, and enjoy it. Don't let fear ruin things for you. As mentioned, I'm afraid of heights. But that didn't stop me from boarding a plane. Lol. I somehow talked myself into getting on one. And even though it scares me, a part of my mind keep telling me to go sky diving. As a random impulse. You know? Get the urge to do something, then want to do it...
