My maternal uncle told me to advice his son not to watch TV more than a hour in a day . Because , he has grown addicted to TV which is telling upon his study and his performance in school is falling week by week . Accordingly I talked the matter with my cousin and as envisaged , he told that his father was false , because , he seldom watch TV . In fact cousin told me a lie and I caught him . And I advised him to switch over to radio programmes on FM channels . But he cannot concentrate on his studies while listening to music .
But I remember listening music in low volume helped me concentrate more on my studies . Can you concentrate listening to music ?

I think music can help a person with their studies. It may inspire you or even give you ideas. For me, I'm bored and I feel tired when I am studying or doing homework and music helps me relieve the boredome and keeps me awake. I dont think music is a distraction, unless its really loud. Music or a little TV, even can help the blood flow and it can encourage you to do more homework and keep studying. It works for me because I know when Im doing homework I will get bored real easy and when I do get bored I will just stop doing my homework. When I turn on some TV or music I like then I can keep working on my homework and it will all get done.

hmmm it doesnt work for me well coz as long as im listening, i more feel sleepy. what i usually did is that whenever i am reviewing my lessons, and i get sleepy and cant concentrate, i watch tv for a while, and then, when i feel alive and awake again, thats the time that i resume to studying again

I can do just about anything while listening to music. I need to have music playing in the backround so that I won't be distracted by the unknown hings or unexpected hings going on around me. I have exremely sensitie hearing, and I am easily startled by loud or unexpected noises, thereore I wear headphones while working and studying, so hat I won't be distracted by the world around me.
