parents, kids or spouse?  | |  After marriage, you automatically fall in love with your spouse, after that you have kids and then you fall in love with your kids too. Before marriage you loved your parents only and now you have three streams to distribute your love to. Which one of these do you care for and love the most? No doubt, you love them all but some degree up and down for each of them. Is it possible to love them all equally or not?

Ofcourse the importance given to each of them is different in different situations. Since my kids are small now I give them more importance in my life. But if God forbid my mother had to fall ill tomorrow I would give her more attention than my children. So I could say that I care and love all of them equally. My spouse is no more so I have not included him in this discussion.

A husband loves his parents more than his spouse.
This is so in my country at least, because we are culturally brought up with these beliefs and customs.
I have never seen a Mother desert her kids in favour of her spouse, in all these years.
Unfortunately, a very common happening here is for a husand to leave his wife for the sake of his parents.
You may perhaps be horrified to read this, but it is true in most parts of India still, where 70% of the population is steeped in tradition and lives in small villages.
Education is spreading to all our villages and hopefully a better sense of justice will prevail among husbands of the future!
