Well, last 2007, I'm 4th yr H.S I transfer to new school were my two siblings attended when they were in high school. For the first time, I finally experience it! Every Friday we have CAT form in our school campus, I really enjoy it but ofcourse you have to be patient and follow the CAT officers. This kind of training will really help you discipline yourself.

Usually, CAT is for third year and fourth year students, but since I enrolled in a small school, CAT is open even for first year and second year high school students. I had no intentions of joining, but one time when I was in my first year, one teacher said she will do pop quiz, and I didn't want to be troubled, so I joined. =) Funny eh? But it was actually a nice experience. The Saturday whole day training has always been something so wonderful, especially that my brother's the Corps Commander that time.

It's definitely an unforgettable experienced. Imagine having my first ever 2" x 3" haircut (which is more popularly known as Aguinaldo's cut), the fatigue uniform and combat shoes (yeah wearing them was still compulsory during my high school days) and standing in the blistering and scorching heat of the sun as punishment from our Platoon Leader whenever we do not followed him. But you're right, besides from this it was all fun. I always consider my high school days as the best of the school life I have. Up to now I still have constant communication and remain friends to most of them.

we don't have this during our high school. we missed this wonderful opportunity. what we have instead was the girls scouts... it was also fun but base on the stories that I've heard, CAT was more fun compared to our experiences with girls scouts. cheers!

hell yes. But i got more into scouting. They were only 60 4th year students in our school so we really had a great bond each time we do an activity.

I've had as many memorable experiences but it was on my college ROTC days, during CAT most of the officers were my kabarkadas so I get to spend those afternoons somewhere hidden and dozing off. hehehe

Yes I had back in my Highschool days. It's not really the training exercise all about, there was fun, learning self discipline, team working and friendship. I remember that I used my position being an officer to manipulate those naughty classmates of mine, Haha I'm not doing it seriously and never abused what I had been being an officer. Our camping and this bivouac was one of the most memorable part of this training.

Hi, when I was in fourth year highschool we received CAT training too. it was fun because our batch became bonded because of this. We had to endure pain but in the end we enjoyed the field trip that we have because of CAT. I remember that I escaped training because I didn't have time to cut my hair and the officers will be the one to cut my hair so I escaped but I was so convicted of what I did so the following day, I got my hair cut. lol!
