Books and Movie

Book is better than movie in many things.
Like, when they were making movie they did not make all scenes like in book. In books spells are described very detailed and in the movie they are just colored lines of light. In some movies Harry even have different haircut than it is described in books.

I do agree, tnhzone. I have loved all of the Harry Potter books and enjoy them immensely. JKR writes in such a way that you picture everything in your head. I do also enjoy the movies but am always disappointed that they leave out vital parts of the books. However, it is always interesting and enjoyable to watch things like Buckbeak come to life in the movies and the scenery is breathtaking. Watching Harry flying on Buckbeak was one of my favourite scenes.

while reading a book of harry potter is you can feel the excitement but once you watch in the movie it is not complete if you don't buy pop corn and drink lol. .

I think everyone agrees that the books are better than the movies but I think the movies were still wonderfully made and enjoyable. It's impossible to cram an entire book and a few hours and they did their best, details had to be cut short. The third movie was very different than the book which upset me a little but i've learned to appreciate it anyways. What I think really adds to the movies is the music because it adds a lot of emotion and makes it feel more like I'm actually there. Next time I reread the books I would love to listen to the soundtrack while reading.
