D.A. To Jon Ramsey - "We're Sorry..."

This is just now breaking so I don't have any links to post, but it's being reported that new DNA evidence has cleared the Ramsey's in the murder of their 6 year old beauty queen daughter Jon Benet Ramsey over a decade ago. Jon Ramsey received a letter saying "I'm very sorry" but it cam much too late for wife Patsy who died last year after a long battle with ovarian cancer. I'm sure many of us had our own suspicions about the parents of this little girl but we only had the information given to us by the media which they in turn got from law enforcement. To make this a discussion, how many feel as I do that sometimes the police are just plain lazy and decide early on in a case like this one that the easiest thing to do is to focus on the parents, therefore letting the real culprit get away? This is not to say all police officers are incompetent, in fact most of them work very hard, but when something like this happens it seems to be even more tragic than it would have needed to be. In Patsy's case she lost her little girl then she died what was likely a very painful death from ovarian cancer, all the while being looked on by the world as the possible killer of her own child.
