Do you feel irritated when your bf/gf calls you when you are in a meeting?

I noticed this when one of my colleague's husband called her when she was in a meeting. My colleague felt so irritated, and she simply said something to her husband then said she was not free and hung up the phone. So will you do the same thing to your partner when he or she calls you up when you are busying with something? If for me, I think I will nicely talk to my boyfriend that I am busy. I think is nothing to be irritated about but somehow different people have different views on this case. Do you agree with me? Please feel free to share with me,thanks.

I think someone should phone you at work only if it'is concerning something very important and it really can't wait until you have finished your work for the day. A boyfriend, husband, wife or girlfriend should understand that. Many employers will not allow their staff to take personal calls at work anyway. There is no need to say something nasty to the person when they call, but next time you see them you should explain to them you are a trusted and responsible employee who cannot waste time at work chatting on the phone.
