what/who makes you happy?

Happiness doesn't necessarily depend on material things, but they sure give it a boost and make you happier. There are things in life that are irreplaceable by material things such as your friends, family and your significant other. At least these are the things I wouldn't be happy without. Also things that make me feel that sense of accomplishment make me happy, regardless if there is a material gain in it or not, like drawing, taking a nice photograph, learning and trying something new, helping others, etc. I wander what or who makes you happy?

I have never believed that happiness depended on the material things that one ends up in front of throughout ones life.My daughter brings a special kind of happiness that is irreplaceable and like no other, it is not the same kind of feeling when you base it on material things you are only quote quote happy for a little while and then you get bored because once you have it you want something else.

hi there...that's a hard question... i guess, both...material and people makes me happy... i have been feeling blue lately...

having my family and friends is what makes me happy. plus having confidence in myself. that's all i need.

my sons, grandchildren, friends & living to see another day makes me happy. material things are nice but they want feel the void of having a good family & friends.

I am happy when I pet our bunnies and scratch our cat's belly. I am happy when I pay a complete stranger a compliment( especially telling little old ladies that they are beautiful or that they have beautiful smiles. ) I am also happy when I talk to friendly people.
