Florida and Finding Old Friends

Many years ago I used to go to Florida with friends and it was all about the warm south and parties. Well the years went by as they tend to do and friends moved away and we drifted apart. The calls got less and the visits stopped. Marriage sometimes does that doesn't it? We were a pretty tight knit group when we were all 20 but jobs and life go in the way. My wife and I started going to Florida as soon as our son was old enough and big enough to enjoy amusement parks. While we were enjoying the sun and fun I started remembering all the fun we used to have back in our prime and thought it would be nice to find a couple of friends that had moved to St. Petersburg Florida but no luck finding them. Then I got a brain storm and called another old friend in Toronto who just happened to have their phone number and in just a few minutes I was in touch with them. The really cool thing was that they were only about 10 minutes away from where I was phoning from. It was meant to be. We were at my foster parents snowbird trailer. It is so nice to see people that you never expected to see ever again.
