eBay Affiliate Marketing and Build A Niche Store

I love marketing online and really enjoy selling things on eBay. My first experience with eBay was cleaning out our garage and unpacked boxes from out last move three years ago. It was a blast getting rid of stuff we no longer wanted enough to even unpack and sell it on ebay to others that thought our stuff was a great deal. We made a lot of money in a short period of time. After it was all over I still wanted to sell stuff but didn't know what to sell. I wanted to get into drop shipping and wholesale stuff but was scared to get ripped off so I never bothered. Later I heard about Build A Niche Store through the eBay affiliate partners program and now I have a few sites that sell products on ebay but the really cool thing is that they are not even my products. I promote them on my site and eBay shares what they earn from the sale of each item. I started my BANS sites, as they are called, and promote products that fit into our hobbies. Do you sell on eBay?

I sell a little bit on eBay, well mostly my s/o does. He sells some hobby stuff also and we look to sell the famous "hot" items especially during the holiday season. I just got back into selling on eBay because of a few off-site programs that make money with eBay auctions (cash back site and an auction tool site- both make money for buyers and sellers outside of eBay) Mostly I buy on eBay, looking for supplies that I can use to make handmade jewelry for my online jewelry shop. I have heard about BANS, but wasn't clear as to what this is. If I send you a friend request, can you give me a littl more info?

Ebay bans animals, Nazi memorabilias, bootlegged items (or knock-offs) but handcrafted stuff is okie. Handmade jewelry is okay as long as you don't pass it as designer. You can however say saomething like "faux" . E.G. "faux" diamonds.. get the idea?

This is true! I don't sell my handmade jewelry on eBay though. I have a shop on a site that is stricly for crafters/artists selling their handmade items. It is much less costly than eBay and there's over a million registered buyers that shop there, looking for handmade items. Thanks for the response!

So how's your BANS? Is it worth going into it or not? I'm also selling on ebay but only locally because of all the fees if you sell internationally.

Yes, I do sell on ebay. I do well some months and then there are other months that I never seem to make any money on there. I have never heard of the Build A Niche Store, but I might try to find out about it as it sounds like another way to earn a little money online. I would love to do that. Ebay fees are a little higher than I would like them to be but I do enjoy selling on there.

Currently I am a powerseller on ebay. I've been wanting to take advantage of the ebay affiliates partners program but will have to wait until I get more time. I also own landscaping company which takes at least 60 hours a week of my time. However during the winter I have plenty of free time to pursue my online adventures. Will you pm me a link to one of your BANS sites?

Yes I sell on two ebay names, I must say i am getting sick of it though because ebay charges way too much and now you can't give negative feedback to buyers which i find horrible considering some buyers can be really rude, i have a link on my blog of one of my ebay names, that is how i promote it, i sell jewelry mainly baby phat and body jewelry it is selling pretty good you can check it out in my profile if you want to see, i am thinking of selling wholesale lots but it's so much money to list on ebay!!!

I sell my artwork on ebay and it goes well for me, I am pleased to say. It is interesting to hear about Build A Niche Stores which I had never heard of before. It sounds like a very interesting concept. When you say that you promote your BANS on your "site" are you referring to your blog or website? Thanks. :)
