This story relates to the influence in a large group or surrounding of people.
in the late 1980's, in New York, a young woman was walking home at night. She was close to home when someone jumped out and started attacking her, hitting her and stabbing her. When she started screaming for help, lights turned on in the apartment buildings to both sides. The attacker jumped away. Shortly later, he attacked her again and killed her.
The police interviewed over 300 people who all heard the screaming, yet the police never received a 911 call.
After further questioning the police found out the reason why. No one called 911 because they all had seen so many lights come on and they figured that someone had already called 911.

Yes that is what happened, I remember the story and crime well, her name was (Kitty) and no one got her the help she needed to save her life. How sad.

How sad to think that this happened and no one even called 911. It could have saved her life. I hope that all those people learned a lesson from this. I hope if they hear something again, that they will call 911 even if they think that someone else has. Its better to have too many calls, than none at all!
