What do you think about Polaroid discontinuing the production of film?  

That is sad, but I'm almost completely digital, but I used to love my Polaroid. I wonder if Polaroid will make digital memory cards and such.

Digital cameras are a great invention and I use and enjoy having one. But I hate to see Poloroid film going by the wayside. It was such a innovation, and it's still nice to have the capability of getting an actual photograph immediately. I'm sorry to hear of its demise.

I too have a Polaroid that I loved using so much. There were times when having that photo develop in your hand was so convenient. I heard about it but I also heard there will be quite a large stock of it for those die-hard fans of the film,which you would have to specially order. I would get in touch with Polaroid and ask them

I had a Polaroid many years ago and had fun with it. Then moved on to other things.

My guess is that this is an environmentally sound move as I am sure the process left behind a lot of chemicals that went into the environment.

Evolution to digital worlds is constantly trend.Digital process make photogarph more convenient ; more faster ; more reliable and more clean( without chemistry medicament ).I believe the most advantage is more cheaper.You don't need to buy films.You can view the pictures on the screen.you can see it immediately after shoot(In the past,only Polaroid can do this) .

Thats sad! I love Polaroids they always have that sense of nostalgia. Aww.. I will miss using the joycam that my bro gave me. I wish they wouldnt push through with discontinuing it, I know a lot of people stil enjoy taking polaroids.

I hope not, although I use digital; I still love to see pictures from Polaroid’s. Besides there are lots of people who specialize for years in photography using Polaroid’s.
