These are the words from Shilpa Shetty who won the great show. But not only yoga has helped her but many who had done it in the way it has to be. I has practice yoga for three years and during that years it was so amazing my concentration part increased and less tensed, my stamina increased, was able to control my emotions with out much stress so on goes the better side not only these it even helps control diabetics and pressures too. Actually if one is doing yoga well I hope medicines are not needs for any physical or mental problems until it is much critical like big injuries. I wish yoga to be given as a subject in all school levels. As the origin is from India even every Indian school could have made it a subject. It was the Rishis (ancient bishops in India) who known to found yoga for their meditation and other body and soul betterment. Hope it would be given its importance all over the world.

I practice yoga several years ago. I just didn't have time to keep it up though I wish I had. There is a class being offered near here and I have thought about joining. I never took a class before. I just picked up some books at the library and taught myself. It would be nice to learn something about it from an actual instructor though. I have gained weight and am about 15-20 yrs older now so I don't know how well I would be able to do those exercises.

I agree. I hope the person who is teaching these classes is well trained in that sort of thing.

Hope there are simple asanas in yoga which can be easily done daily. But it would be better to get from a trainer who analyse our body and give effective yoga asanas.

Hello dear shamrack c",) I heard a lot about yoga and read about it in the internet. tried to watch videos about it and find it very interesting. I wish i could start doing yoga because knowing all the benefits makes me even more interesting to do it. Is it ok to just follow some video tapes or must enroll to have an instructor for yoga? Too bad yoga is not part of our school subjects here in my place and teachers of yoga is rare. can you give me some tips or ideas on which is the best way to start yoga? Thanks for sharing this dear c",)
