How do you handle jelous in-laws?

How do you deal with your in-laws if you notice or you confirm that they are jelous people. Do you keep a distance or deal with them with wisdom,just to avoid trouble.

Keeping distance or simply ignore them...I guess this is better than an ugly confrontation...I am lucky because we live far away from my in-laws so I don't have such problem...we are living on our own and we get to see each other very rarely. It's when you see daily that misunderstanding occur. It's generally ugly, and I hate it.

It's not my in-laws that give me trouble, it's my own family. Some of them tend to get very jealous if I spend time away from them, and especially with my girlfriend's family.

Probably they have some reservations about the whole thing.Try getting them involve,this might change things.
