What kind of discussions will catch your eyes? Does subject matter?

I choose those discussion from their subjests most of time, if i'm interested in the subjet, then i click for details. And i sometime just curious, you know some friends won't describe in detail, they just use the subject" please help me", " what should i do", then i click to see what has happened. They're others, who will use" do you like ~", or "how many time do you ~", "i've got an interview" etc. then i see clearly and will decide whther to respond or not probaly before seeing the whole discussion. Cause i most of time can see if i know something about it or not. Some mylotters, so far as i know will answer friends' discussion first. So please share what makes your decision to respond. Enjoy life

Yes, the subject does matter. Also if it's a very light subject matter then in a heartbeat I would hit respond to discussion. I can also judge from a few sentences if it's really something I'm interested in.

So true! A light subject is less likely to be deleted or make people angry with you!

Thanks Joliefille, yeah, we can judge from a few sentences. I sometimes hate reading those who are too long, the whole page is English which discourages me, oops, too difficult to persuade myself to go on reading. Then i'd leave and find some other interesting one. Enjoy life

I usually dont go to my intrests, i like to read through the discussions that are there in the listings and then choose to answer the ones that intrest me. After going through the listings i go throughh my friends discussion and then to my intrests. Basically i discuss anything that i am knowledgeable about.

I do not go to the interests section to find a discussion either! I do not seem to have time after responding to the other discussions that were in my inbox, or in the daily digest!

I do the same, even right now I choose to come to post a response to your discussion because I read the subject and it was interesting and made me want to know more about, there is times I see a subject and it looks like hard to answer, I wouldn't to go to post a response, then I tried to figure out if the discussion is hard to answer reading a little bit and if it still looks interesting then I continue reading trying to understand all about it, I would to read again pieces of the discussion while I am posting the response I can get more ideas about it, so that is the way I post responses.

I answer any friends discussions that I can, if I know something about it, or if nobody else answered I will give it a try! I answer other discussions too, like no answer ones or in my digest too! Only if I think I can not answer well or if the discussion is too controversial will I let it go by without answering!

No, I look at the whole email or whatever it says on the webpage! If I can answer, then I will. I do not think that we have to answer just because a friend asks!

I'll try to answer answer discussions without any responses first. Because i have experienced starting a discussion and waiting there hopefully bu the fact is no answer that's gonna make mylotters sad! Besides,i'll also try to see if i can say something according to the topic of the discussion, if not i think it's a waste of time. I do also check discussions started by my mylot friends and new mylot users. Have a nice day and enjoy mylotting! :-)

Everyday, when I open the website of mylot,I will firstly have a look at the discussions which are started by my friends.I will choose some which are intersting in my mind to response. Then I will open the hobbies I chose to see if there are some interesting discussions there, and response them.by the way,I also like to start dicussions myself, and spend lots of time to try to comment all the response I received, that's funny, too,I think. hope you all the best!

Usually I would look at titles that are catchy like titles about life, relationships, money etc. I also notice immediately those who are asking for help and those who are asking the things that I like. I actually like looking at these discussions because I like to learn a lot from discussions!
