Things you'll need;
Vinegar
Baking Soda
Deflated balloon
Bottle with a narrow opening
Funnel
What to do?
Using the funnel, place about 1 tbsp of baking soda into balloon.
Pour about 3 cm high of vinegar into a small bottle.
Carefully place the open end of the balloon over the mouth of the bottle, and hold it in place. As the baking soda falls into the vinegar, the balloon is inflated.
How does it work?
Baking soda is a base, while vinegar is acid. When the two come in contact together, they give off Carbon Dioxide. Since the balloon sealed the bottle, the gas escapes into the balloon and causes it to inflate.
Try it with your kid's. It is great for them to know the concept of air.

This will surely fascinate my kids and a very good science experiment for them. I would finally have some time off with blowing up their balloons. I never knew CO2 will be its by product, I'll just have to warn them of the harmful effect. Thanks for sharing this my friend.
