| Hi to all mylot members! Im here again to seek some help. Okay I was planning to have a fund raising event. It will be just a small event where I can handle. This event will benefit my friend who are in need and I also want the people who will join in this event to have benefit on this one. It can something that will gave me some enough money to buy a sewing machine and some fabrics to be use by my friend as to start her business and to help her family. Now I want some suggestions which kind of fund raising event it will be good to have. Any suggestions will be accepted. I also want to ask some tips on how to start a fund raising event since this will be my first to handle one. Thanks in advance! Your response will really be a big help for my friend. Godbless! | | Well i am not sure where you are from. But from where i am from we need to get an approval or license to do it. But since you are starting a fund raiser i guess you can ask for donations online with legit proof of your event. You can also try and look for organisations which do such events and consult with them. But if you are looking for some small event without any hinderance and overhead cost than i suggest you look up for all your friends and relatives. Ask them for donations and in return you hold a small cost effective tea party or something. Set a logical minimum amount for the donation. | | | | | | |

| | There are a few that comes to mind, You can bake cakes, 'the teenagers do and then they auction them off', you can have just a bake sale. A garage sale, or you can get one item, and sale tickets to give it away, You make money, and some lucky person gets the item. I have done fund raising in a lot of ways, we use to do shows, like a bunch of people, get items, where you can get in a group and sell them, and everyone makes something. By percentage. and you make what you need. Good luck in your fund raising event. I hope you and your family are well. Take care ayessa, have fun be safe and God bless you and yours | | | | | | |

| | If you want to have a fund raising event then be aware that you still need to spend money for it..all i can suggest is sell bingo cards or tickets..in affordable price...we all know that Filipinos are happy people so you can offer them simple but meaningful prizes..it can be food or something useful.. Or maybe if you have talent in singing and dancing you can organize a mini concert..together with your talented friends as well..ask your other friends to do a favor for you..for free... By the way it's for a good cause so i'm sure they will not hesitate to help..I hope it would help you in any way...gudlak | | | | | | |
