Sleeping while traveling

well as for me I too love my driving and always do whenever I am going out with my family or friends. I hate to take a side seat whenever we are travelling in a car. Coming to travelling in a bus I do sleep without any problems whatsoever. Same is the case when I am travelling by a place or by a train I go off to sleep the moment they start moving. Dont why it is like that but I tend to sleep a lot while travelling.

humm..sometimes i do but only when we're going home..I dont sleep while travelling coz i really love seeing the environment we're driving at..:) well..especially when it's already far at home..lol

I cant sleep when I am traveling if I am on an overnight sleep I might be able to dowse alittle bit but I am tired the next day when I get to my destination. I wish that I could sleep in the car or in other vehicles but It is almost impossible for me to do so. I also have trouble sleeping in hotels. I prefer my own bed.

Since I travel mostly by bus. I guess I am used to traveling by land and am relax most of the trip so my tendency is to sleep when an opportunity comes. Most of my travel especially when traveling to my province I really am prompted to sleep because of the length of the trip and we usually travel by night.

Hi my friend dolce_vita78. I like sleeping while I'm traveling before but now I don't like anymore because of a phobia that happened to us 15 years ago. We went for vacation in a province with our family, and it's a long drive like 8-9 hours.The travel was great! But we came back to Manila in our main city, we had 3 hours drive and we almost there, but the car was totally wrecked because, it turned turtle and we are inside. We are 13 people inside with 3 kids, and 10 adult. We are all sleeping aside from my uncle which our driver on that day. We do not know what happened, I just woke up and found myself inside the car. Fortunately, we are all alive but we can't go home because our car was totally wrecked. We were brought to hospital and underwent X-ray. After 2 days we got home, there's a lot of people who offer a help to us and even offered us some thing to sleep. Thanks god, we survive.. That's why after that I don't want to sleep during a trip or travel.

The motion one experiences on the road isn't really close to those that one could experience on a plane or aboard a ship. On a fast moving vehicle, your body is constantly pulled back due to the motion of the vehicle going forward, aside from that, the road doesn't always grant a smooth path. It would often have bumps or craters that may sometimes make the trip bumpy.

Compare that to either a trip in a plane or one on a boat, you cannot sense yourself moving forward, even though you all are. And the motion is similarly close to being rocked in a cradle or, that feeling of being afloat or suspended which does make sleeping more easier.

I can sleep in any trip, as long as I feel sleepy.

I can easily sleep in a car. But I never drive either, so I guess I'm not inclined to be alert while in a vehicle. I sleep all the time, it's very relaxing for me. I'm just like a baby!

Well for security reasons if I take the bus I don't sleep when traveling especially when I'm alone. Even if I feel drowsy I prevent myself from falling asleep.

On the plane I have trouble getting comforable. If I can and have room to get comfy I will sleep. I also sleep in other means of transport, beause I am bored and have nothing to do. You can only read so much, lol. When on a very long trip it gets boring. At night is the worse, you can't see anything while you past it by.
