Do you use your manners?

of course I do.

I always say thank you to someone when they did something nice to me. even small things. And you know, stuff like that.

Manners maketh man..as the saying goes,and im a huge beleiver in using them.We were brought up with old fashioned values,and we had to use our manners if we didnt then Lord help us!!but its so good to hear someone saying please and thankyou,and holding the door open for you,its really refreshing,and in my eyes it counts for so much.

i think its nice to use manners because it shows the people you love you appreciate them and others that you werent raised by wolves. lol

It depends the culture.Just like the Chinese, when the family members talk to each other, Please,thank you,sorry this type of the words, they won't talk that much, except you really do something wrong that you have to apologise for it. it's not like the westen using them so frequent. It's hard to say which manner is better. It is just the culture different. They feel if you always talk like that, it looks like the stranger, the relationship is not that close.

It is only civilized to use your manners. We are taught from children to use our manners. I was even taught in school proper manners. In our home we say please and thank you. Please pass the butter, thank you. Like that. When I was a child I had to ask to be excused from the table.

i always say please and thank you as i would like people to say it to me,but sadly they dont

i grew up taught by my father to use my manners with whom i face with. i always say thank you when some has shown me good manners in return. i also say please when i ask something from another person.

it simply shows other people of how your parents treated you as you grew up.

It is still best that I say "thank you" and "please" for a favor given. It should not be assumed, It should still be shown in situation that needs for correct manners.
