Does the fact that you go to work in the dark and come home in the dark affect

I am an IT Trainer, we deal with so many international students. So i do work in night shifts. Go to work at 8:00 at night and come back at 2:00 or 3:00 at night. I did not affect me at all...........

Yes, It takes it's toll on my SAD depression, and it makes me feel more run down and tired then I normally would if I do not at least make sure I see a sunrise, sunset, and get two hours of daylight. However adding a full spectrum light specifically to SAD may help for some. My Parents just got one. So I am testing it as a new thing to see if it helps. - DNatureofDTrain

When i was working third shift i never noticed any mood changes but my girlfriend said i always seemed tired and short. as soon as i switched back to first shift i immediately felt happier for some reason. i think there is some psychological thing about daylight that you do miss after a long time of only being up during the night and early morning.
