A White Christmas Tree  

We just bought a big old farmhouse-type house and I am thinking of putting a white tree in foyer with gold ornaments/trim.

Tacky definitely. I prefer the real trees or at least one that resembles them. How many pure white trees do you find in nature?

My parents used to do it... but the snow from the can made it stinky! So I don't do it!

I think white Christmas trees are pretty cool and can be a good change from the ordinary green tree. We're getting a new tree this year and I hope we decide to get a white tree.

we have a big beautiful white tree that we decorate with blue & silver. Our house looks like a winter wonderland during the holidays. we live in southern california, so its not easy trying to get that "white Christmas" kind of feeling.

yes we do have one, i put all my red and silver ornaments on it. It looks so nice. We also get a real one for the living room, we put all home made ornaments on that one.

i prefer real blue bruce or a nice fur tree. but i have seen some white christmas trees that looked very nice.

I think they are tacky. I love real trees but I use an artificial one and I want it to look as close to a real one as possible. An all white tree does not look real at all.
