What do you do when the electicity goes out?  

The last time the electricity went out was last summer, it was a very hot and humid day.
My husband and I went to Costco's where there was A/C, walked around the store, had a bite to eat, then came home. By that time the problem was fixed and we were back in business.

I usually light up a candle and take a magazine to read. I really like this. And sometimes, I sit with all my cousins and chat :D

LOL, here in our country NEPAL we have regular routine of loadshedding. I usually play with my cell phone when there is no electricity and I go out with my friends to have fun sometime.

We seem to have a lot of power failures associated with thunder storms. As long as I have cooked dinner, I don't mind. I love candlelight and my kids love it too. We light several candles so that we have quite good light and sit around telling ghost stories, jokes or playing "I Spy". Sometimes we blow a few of the candles out and play hide and seek. It is quite a nice, fun, family time.

huh well thats out of my hand so what i feel is best id to wait for electricity to come back ,uptill then i enjoy eating out head of electricity officials by calling them again and again.

good question. Like you me too hate power cuts. In japan we have almost zero power shutdowns compared to other countries, So difficult to answer your question ne!

Well, that depends on the current weather. If it is sunny, I would go out and spend some time out with my boyfriend. Or, I would take my dogs out for a walk. If it is raining, or if there's a storm, I would stay indoors and grab a book to read. Or, I would just lay down and sleep. At times, I would also play card games or board games with my sister.

Most of the time our power goes out as a result of a storm (usually in the afternoon/evenings). If the weather isn't too bad, hubby and I will just sit on the front porch and enjoy each other's company. If the electric was out for a long period of time, I'm sure we'd just light a few candles and read and go to bed early :)

Electricity usually goes out in our place after heavy rain (fr. Phil.).What we do is go out of the house with flashlights on our hand and enjoy the cold air.During this time most of the neighborhood is outside enjoying the darkness of the night.Some would have a little picnic in front of a small store.Those were the days in the province.But where we are now,electricity goes out for a few minutes only.So don't have much problem being in the dark.

we always want a drink like a cup of tea

so we have to boil the water on the gas and buy the time we've done all

that about 10 mins later in comes back on lol
