Is anyone else's dog like this?  | |  i have a dog and have had him for a few years at least, and he is so spoiled...i mean that dog won't eat on his own because he is honestly too lazy to eat on his own so he makes you break his food up for him before he will eat and he will sit in the chair and wait on you to bring his water to him because he will cry until you do so...and then whenever you are eating anywhere around him he will lay there and watch you eat and then after a few minutes if you don't pay any attention he will grunt at you and smack you with his paw until you start to feed him some of your food...he just seems to get more and more spoiled with everyday that comes and goes by...does anyone else's dog do this or act like this?

I don't mean to sound harsh, but this is primarily your fault.
He has learned what to do to get you to do what he wants you to do. You are the only one who can stop it. It will take some patience and training, but you can do it.

He does this because he knows you will accommadate him, in this respect dogs are like children. They will do what they can get away with.
Stop doing it. Believe me, he'll get up when he's hungry enough.
