There are a lot of embarrassing commercial on the satellite's tv, an example for these commercials, like the period protection like (ALWAYS), or for the androgen like (VIAGRA), the kids saw these commercials and start to ask about the what are these commercials are about, I get embarrassed and change the topic for another thing.
Do you ever have this situation? and how you deal with it?

Good heaven! I've been there and done that! There was a point in my children;s growth where I detuned the receiver so that certain channels could be watched because I just couldn't handle the questions.
You have all of my sympathy. It won't get any better until they reach around 16 and have learned from their friends.

Yes my dear I agree with you of they be in 16 years old maybe it is easy to explain to them about it.
And the big problem are these commercials come up in a social site and social films.
Thank you for your response and have a nice day.

When a child asks me a question like that I tell them. I'd raher face an embarassing situation right on, than make another person tink tey coudln't talk to me about anything. Some people have withheld things from me, and later in life I've found those people hard to trust.

I think it is hard for me to explain to them about these things, maybe when they grow up some years more.
Thank you for your response and have a good day.

I will always try to explain is as simple a language as possible without embarrasment as it is life depending of the age of the child. For example for my son I would say that woman have to bleed sometimes and this is what they wear, he would then ask why and I would just say because boys and girls bodies are different but it is normal for a woman and they are not injured like when you have to wear a plaster, usually by then the next advert would be on and he would move on from the suject. My advice is to keep it honest but simple. My four year old asked me about period protection, and I explained that it is to keep your underpants clean. It's true, and she was happy with that answer.
I want my daughter to always feel free to ask me anything at all, and she already knows that some things are only for talking about at home. I think that avoiding the issue might lead to her asking someone else who might not handle it well.

Hi alkurishy,
I really don't think these adverts should be shown early in the day wgen kids can watch it, the adults adverts should be shown very late in the evenining, I have not seen the adverts for VIAGRA. so I can't coment on that.Good luck to you for trying to explain to your kids about it.

I have not tried that alkurishy, But, if they are too young to learn about it, like you I will be changing the topic....but, I know some friends who will try to explain it in a light way!
