If you have read this book, respond with your reaction to it. It is one of my most favorite books. I fear (I mean really fear) getting old and losing my abilities and this book shows you that being old can be a good, graceful thing. Along the lines of this, there is a movie with Micheal Keaton that deals with the same issues called My Life. PS--What other books has Mitch Albiom written?

Hi, I've read this book, and it really touches me...I don't cry, but this book brought me to tears. It's not so much about the growing old and dying - it's what we can do before we die, how precious life can be, and dying is not a scary thing. Mitch Alborn has other books; I've only read this and 'The Five People You Meet in Heaven'.

Yeah, it does a good job of helping you understand that it is okay to get old but that getting old and dying is not something you should try to avoid. It is going to happen, so embrace it. I have read Five People... also. It is very good. Both of these books have movies, too. The Tuesday's With Morie movie is amazing. I tmakes the book that much better.
