please can someone answer a ? for me . here it is- my wife recently received a letter in the proclaiming that they records show that she has under state law we are require to report to you that you have unclaimed property. this letter head say southwest securities member of sws group. if we don't hear from you in 30 days we will turn over the assets to the state.any claim to this property will have to directed to the state. this to me sounds like a scam can you tell me is this something that is commonly done or is this a scam. the name at bottom of the letter is ; camille taylor operations department southwest securities 1201 elm st suite 3500 dallas tx 75270 214-859-1518.
