This is very effective. Also observing Cats, with their kittens. How does a mother cat reward a kitten? How do the cats socialize with eachother? ... People if they practice enough can learn to Purr like a cat, and learn the cat calls and sounds. I have purrfected this naturally, as I had my first kitten at the age of 3, so I grew up with cats. learned my first word not to long before it as due to abuse and neglect I got a late start in learning the spoken word, which also increased my telepathic abilities. Two other things to use with clicker train is different vocal turn... if you can't make a purr.. Then say the word purr purr purr in the same turn.... If you can roll your l's roll your l when you say the word love... I glloooooooove you... gliiiiilll us a natural sound recognized by all cats for love....

As hiss is a natural sound recognized as a warning. Pay attention to your eyes, and body language if you are upset crouch in your arms head neck and shoulders and squint to a cat this means. "I'm warning you"

Use 2-4 words at a time in broken speech. They do not understand words like is, and to..... You can even train them with a made up language...

or State a certain word to symbolise its play time, time to eat...

use clicks in the natural habitat to most animals means, Listen, Attention. I have a message for you. You click to any animal and then give them a clear message they will respond.

Also learning the amount of taps and clicks.

Universally All cats and dogs naturally know three clicks in a row . . . Means ... Come here.. if you click them with your mouth, or tap them with your hand. I recommend using your mouth, and for long distance, you can do the same signals with claps.

My dogs love to run and chase everything. I yell, Puppies Come! Clap clap clap three times... Puppies come clap clap clap or the name of which of my Two Dogs I want to come.... And well sometimes the wrong dog will come, and other times be persistent till I run out there, then I give them a time out...

Go to your porch! ... and I tell them to lay there make them stay there for about a half hour as a time out.. Then usually afterwards they can wander again...

A Pet's communication level is like dealing with a 2-3 year old child. They are learning but after awhile they can understand the human language to about 5 year olds mentality :) ... And I even had a cat that learned how to say the words "Yes" "No" and "What" verbally.

At the age of 11 she started to speak human words here and there. She was always surrounded by alot of talking people, and she heard me often snapping what when the kids wanted me and I wanted to be alone cuddling. She then when she wanted to be left alone would meow ..Mewhat ... It was funny. But she was clear :) ...

Happy Kitty Train there are those cheap minimag books that come out called How to Talk to your cat. Those are pretty good books to read as well, for a person who does not understand cat's natural language it will help you.
