Pawn shops / myLot

Hi! I need money and I also want to get rid of things so was wondering if I should try a pawn shop. What do I need to know about Pawn shops? Any good recommendations about Pawn shops? I see there are some online pawn shops too, what about those? I have never used one so any helpful hints would be appreciated. Thanks.

I've never heard of an online pawn shop. The off line ones don't pay much. I wouldn't use them unless I was desperate or just didn't want the stuff at all. I think you'd get more at a yard sale or ebay. depends on what it is too.
