Do you belong to Gather?

I belong to Gather it's a site sorta like this but I honestly do not know how it works. Apparently, you earn points which you must at some point turn into gift cards because I see posts about them. I really like it. Most of the people seem really great just like the ones here. If you do belong to gather would you be able to explain to me how it works or point me into the right direction on that site to figure it out? I would really really be happy for that!

I know that I am seeing this 2 months after you posted it, but gather is awesome. If you've not been lately, they have added a TON of new gift cards to cash out for including amazon and Target. They also have it where you can trade your points in for paypal too!
You write posts....upload photos, or videos....you earn points when others view your stuff.
Find groups of interest like you do here, or join groups where you can post anything, or do both (like me)
Make friends who will read and rate your stuff.
Watch for promotions!! They just ended a summerpics promo where you got 10 pts for each summer photo you uploaded. I did just over $50 worth of photos, but many did over $150!
Read, rate and comment on stuff put in by others as a lot will comment back.

Thanks for the information. I joined gather but then haven't did much with it I really didn't like this last upgrade and found it difficult to navigate. Do they email members about the promos? I missed one over the summer with double points or something like that, I guess it was ending as I was joining.

Wow, has it really been 2 months already since I posted this?
I'm still going strong posting and commenting on gather, working on saving amazon gift cards to buy myself a laptop.
