At the moment, I am short on monetary means to help out charities. Yet, I use other means to help out. For example, I use the I'M initiative through Live messenger and Hotmail. I also use Care2.com and other free click to donate sites. This is my way of helping out in causes that I believe in.

How do you make a difference with your charities and causes? Do you donate money or use free methods?

I use SocialVibe.com
It's free. All you have to do is choose a cause to support then choose a sponsor and put a badge on your sites. And every time someone views your profile you get one point and every friend you invite, you get 100 points. Those points get converted to charity money for the charity of your choice. You can also earn some perks:)
My cause is for Peace and Human Rights.Check out my profile to see what the badge looks like

I do not have much money myself. What I do is I like to crochet,so I buy inexpensive yarn,or sometimes get it for free and I crochet quilts and donate them to homeless shelters, and children's homes.I know it isn't much but every little bit helps.I also have my friends save all their children's clothes for me as they grow out of them and I bring them to a children's home to help cloth these kids.I also sometimes volunteer at the home and do crafts or something with the kids.I find it very rewarding, the kids look forward to me coming and I think I get more out of it hen they do.
I am hoping to someday be in a position to get my foster parents license so I could take in one or two foster kids.
i will check out the web sites you mentioned maybe I can do more there as well.

Wow, Jas. That is awesome. I should look into crocheting and quilting for any of the shelters that may be near by. Thanks for the response.:D

I dont have the means either. I always have just enough money to pay the bills and by groceries (the essentials). I found a company that you can buy your everyday items and other stuff too (name brand stores are affiliated so it isnt like your shopping at places you never heard of, even though there is those stores too but they are usually cheaper anyways.). You can save money and/or make money, and the best part about it is they are dedicated to changing the world. Ohh...I almost forgot...it is FREE!!! It is called my power mall and everybody that signs up gets their own mall to shop at.

Anyways if you are interested just visit my profile and click the first banner on the right side of my page. check it out and you can email me tparring09@yahoo.com if you have any questions or if you want to know more...but you have to check it out first, the site should give you all the info you need to know
