I was washing the dishes when my ring fell off from my finger to the drainage, I was trying to reach for it but I failed. I told my husband and he understood and told me it was an accident. I felt so incomplete without it. When our 5th anniversary came, I saw his finger with bandages and before I asked what happened, he gave me my gift, it was my wedding ring which he got from the drainage that's why he got wounded because of trying so hard to get it. I was so touched and for me what he did for me is the greatest gift ever.

that's so sweet of him. im sorry about what happened to him though but those wound represent how much he loves you. wounds would heal in time but the memory of that will remain in your heart forever :)

I am so sorry to hear that that happened in the first place but it was so nice of your husband to risk injury to retrieve it for you. It shows just how much the bond of your marriage means to him, and I am glad that you have someone who would go to such lengths. I hope that you and your husband did something special for your 5th anniversary, and congratulations on making it that far.
