What's with the avitar?

OK, this has been bugging me most of the day, and I'm sure it's got something to do with the new and improved myLot features. I have someone on my friends list who almost always has the same avitar. She rarely changes it and usually changes it back. I can always pick her out because of her avitar. Well, today, her avitar in my friends discussion list is that green myLot guy. I thought maybe she wanted to make a statement and changed it to the default for some reason and while scanning her posts didn't see anything about it. So, I checked her profile and it's got the right avitar there. Then I checked some of her discussions, and the right avitar is there. But, in any of the discussion listings, the avitar is that green guy. What's up with this? I don't think it's happenned to anyone else, but I was wondering maybe if that's a new setting we can do - a different avitar for the discussion listings than what we have in our profile and beside our comments within the discussions.... Anyone know what's going on with this?

I messed up once and had the right avatar on my home page and the green one on my discussions. But I don't know how she can do what she is doing without the Lot messing up somehow. I don't think that it is a new option. I believe that it is an error. If you like, I will try to do it too. I remember what I did before when I messed up. I can try it again and see if it does more interesting things now than before!

I think I figured some of it out - I found a discussion about her and she may have changed it earlier today. When I looked a few minutes ago her profile was changed to the green guy now, but her discussions are still the old avitar... No clue what's going on, but I'm sure it'll be interesting to find out!

I have a similar experience with this some times, in the old format I would see all my interest having the same avatar, sometimes when I'm searching for a discussion all of them have the same green default avatar when I am very sure that some of them I know and uses a specific one. I notice this is not permanent and most when I have so many application open in my task bar. So my explanation here is my memory is full at the moment, when its ok or has enough free room, all will update properly or will show the right avatar.

I'm going to check on it tomorrow and see if it's "fixed" itself. That was just really strange...

I had this happen after another upgrade, about six months ago. I do not think it is deliberate, I think it is a glitch.

It's really freaking me out because sometimes I look for people's discussions by their avitar and now she's got that green guy going on... Hopefully it'll get fixed soon before it starts happenning to more of us.
