Prefer, try to deviate your friends attention. because, it hurt me and my friend.

Unless doing so would actually cause more problems, I would go with the first one. At times, it might be best just to go with #3 or #5 and simply try to get your friend away from the situation a.s.a.p.--like, if you think that hanging around and telling them off might get one or both of you hurt. However, if there's no danger to life or limb, I think that, along with comforting your friend and suggesting that "we blow this pop stand," it wouldn't hurt to also give this crowd of idiots a little lecture on being kind to people, even if it seems as if you're casting your pearls before swine. A lecture carefully given might penetrate their thick skulls and give them something to think about later, even if they don't seem to be receptive of it at the time.

The fact that he is my friend.. I would always help him from any situation..... And since there are a gang of students... and we are just two... I would not shout and fight with them.. that would be cray...... I would tell my friend... not to listen what they are saying and just walk away....

I will do something else. I will go to them & tell them go lick the boots of that person, because of that person low life insects are able to laugh. I think after saying that they will be laughing at my friend anymore.

i would back my friend if he would stand up for himself.

i would stand up for him if he has the freaking balls to stand up for himself. if he tries to retaliate i will back him up for sure. if he has no self respect how can i respect him or help him for that matter. its a wrong thing saying that its ok even if you help him cause its not. it hurts your ego.one thing everyone must understand is to stand up for themselves. you simply cannot compromise with your self respect.
