Did the death of Heath Ledger help rake in $$$$$ for "Dark Knight"

I'd say yes. People got more interested with what happened to him months ago. If somebody had played that role it won't have this good showing right now. I've followed this movie months before but I never expected that it would be this big a success.

Heath Ledger was truly great in this movie...

I totally agree that the death of Heath Ledger had indeed helped the movie Dark Knight make more money and be more popular. Deaths of actors tend to do that. His name has been in the news so much that people that would have never been interested in a Batman movie are going to see it. Of course you can't blame Heath cry

I have heard from people that have seen it that it is a great movie!
