What is a useful link?

People are constantly putting referral links on Mylot even though it's against Mylot's TOS.I thought I'd try to explain what this means.
When you start a discussion about ways to earn money you are not allowed to put a direct referral link in it.Also,you are not allowed to put a link to a blog or website that contains referral links that you will profit from.
If you start a discussion about something like Diabetes and put a link to the American Diabetes Association in it,that is considered a useful link.
I hope this clears up any misconceptions about what a useful link is.

Awesome!! Thank you for the information, I hope people will read this really thoroughly. I just realized I made a mistake when I for pretty much the first time today put the link to my blog in a response... so I learnt a lesson too!
I really hope all the new ones reads this and stop putting referral links everywhere! Thank you for the clearing up!
